I would like to get a massage but I am so self-conscious... is there anything I can do?
Massage therapists are educated on the muscular system and the way the body works and can heal itself. There is no judgment regarding your body or your pain and stress issues.  It is vital that you feel comfortable in order for massage to be truly effective. Getting massage may help you to feel less self conscious and more accepting of yourself and your body, over time.
Do I have to get completely undressed?
You should undress to the level you are comfortable. For a full body massage, you may choose to get completely undressed or leave your underwear on - either way is fine.  You will undress and get on the table in privacy and you will be draped during the entire massage.
Only the area being worked on will be exposed.
What parts of my body will be massaged?
A typical full-body session will include work on your back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck, and shoulders.
